In bringing the William A. Rice Complex to Wrentham, we are not only offering a chance for young and old to use and enjoy this complex in an organized or individual way but we have created a way to keep 80 acres of Wrentham land as open space for the town to enjoy for years to come.
The William A. Rice Complex is located at 54 Emerald Street, Wrentham.
In 2004, the Town of Wrentham overwhelmingly chose to name the new recreational complex in William Rice's name in honor of his 24 years of unselfish, dedicated work to the town of Wrentham as Recreation Director.
Funding for this project provided by private and corporate donations, state and federal grants.
