***DUE TO THE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS PUT IN PLACE BY MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNOR CHARLIE BAKER, AS OF FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 2020 SWEATT BEACH WILL BE OPEN TO MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  ALL ADULTS MUST PRESENT A CURRENT LICENSE OR STATE ISSUED ID FOR ENTRANCE TO THE BEACH.***

DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, THERE WILL BE SEVERAL NEW POLICIES IN PLACE FOR THE 2020 SEASON.  PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES THAT ARE POSTED AT THE BEACH SO THAT WE CAN REMAIN OPEN AND KEEP ALL PATRONS SAFE.

Sweatt Beach on Lake Pearl off Woolford Road welcomes residents and non-residents for swimming and recreation.   A hidden gem, the beach has undergone several renovations in the last few years, thanks in part to various Eagle Scout projects by local Boy Scouts and new fencing purchased with monies from the Sweatt Fund.

As per the state guidelines, all patrons over age 2 should wear a mask when walking to/from the parking lot.
Once on the beach area, masks should be worn until guests/families are seated a distance of 12ft away from other guests.  Masks should be worn when visiting the restrooms.

The beach is a public beach open daily 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weather permitting.

2020 Prices

Daily fees are $5 for adults and $4 for children, regardless of residency. Children age 2 and under are free. Wrentham residents 60+ are free.  Daily fees are payable in CASH ONLY.  Due to the uncertainty of the current situation season passes are not available for 2020.

EMS Schools - Kayak/Paddleboard Rentals and Lessons at Sweatt Beach 

 EMS Schools is proud to announce the opening of it's newest rental and lesson location for kayaking and paddleboarding. Located along the calm shores of Lake Pearl in Wrentham, Sweatt Beach is a great spot for swimming and paddling.  Kayak and paddleboard rentals are open seven days a week starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and kayaks and paddleboards are available for any size paddler.  Rentals are first come first serve and include paddle and PFD.  No experience is needed to participate and no reservations are required!  You are required to pay the daily beach fee ($5 for adults; $4 for children over 2 yrs. of age).

In addition to rentals we also offer lessons in basic kayaking and paddleboard technique, and SUP Fitness classes for anyone looking to work up a sweat.  Our professionally trained and experienced instructors work with students closely to ensure proper technique and a truly enjoyable experience.  Classes run weekly Spring and Summer and reservations can be made online at www.emsoutdoors.com or by calling 800-310-4504.
