Water Division Notice

All FINAL WATER READINGS will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY, between the hours of 8 AM to 11 AM with no set appointments.

If you need to arrange for a specific date and time, there will be an additional charge.

Water Rates (effective July 1, 2018)

0 to 50,000 Gallons   $5.20 per thousand gallons
Greater than 50,000 Gallons   $6.20 per thousand gallons

Capital Assessment Charges

Effective July 1, 2017 The Capital Assessment will be calculated on your water consumption based on your current bill. Previously they were calculated on your consumption on the previous year.
Less than 15,000 gallons $8.70
15,000 - 24,999   gallons $17.40
25,000 - 34,999   gallons $34.80
35,000 - 49,999   gallons $52.20
50,000 - 74,999   gallons $69.60
Over 75,000 gallons $87.01

 Water Service Lines

Ownership/responsibility of water mains and service to homes:

  • "Townside" - Town Repairs - Water main on street and service line from water main to curbstop (shutoff valve)
  • "Houseside" - Homeowner Repair - Curbstop (shutoff valve) to water meter in house
