Tax Collector /Treasurer
The Tax Collector is responsible for the Real Estate and Personal Property which are issued twice a year, with quarterly payments due on Feb 1st, May 1st, Aug 1st, and Nov 1st.
Excise bills are issued when data is updated from the Commonwealth Registry of Motor Vehicles and are due 30 days from the issue date.
Water bills with billing information supplied by the Water Department are issued twice yearly by billing district and monthly to commercial accounts.
The Treasurer is responsible for all of the Town's banking relationships, which includes investing, borrowing and dispensing of funds authorized by the Board of Selectmen. The Treasurer is also responsible for the assets of the Town including but not limited to all oproperties that the collector has placed in tax title, and for the ultimate resolution of those properties in tax title. The Treasurer is also responsible for the calculation of the Town employees payroll along with all required reporting of payroll data to the Commonwealth and Federal governments.
All Real Estate, Personal Property, Excise Bill and Water Bill payments may be mailed to the address on the remittance slip or directly to the Office of the Collector at 79 South Street, Wrentham, MA 02093. Please allow ample time for the Postal Service delivery. A postmark is NOT proof of timely payment. Taxpayers may visit our office at 79 South Street to pay their bills in person during regular office hourse. When paying in person, please bring your whole bill with you as no duplicate receipts will be issued.
There is a payment drop box as you exit the Town Hall driveway (on the left) where you can drop payments if the office is closed.

Click the link below to access the payment site to pay your Personal Property, Real Estates Taxes, Excise Taxes and Water Bills on-line. Note that this option expires at midnight of the due date and is NOT available for past due or pink demand bills.
Wrentham Taxpayers: Do You Need Help??
Wrentham's Elderly and Disabled Taxation Aid Fund has funds available to assist elderly and/or disabled Wrentham residents to defray the cost of their property taxes. The fund consists totally of donations received from residents, businesses, community groups, churches, and friends.
