Wrentham Angels

Wrentham Angels is a network of volunteers supporting Wrentham families in crisis. The Angels will serve Wrentham families dealing with various short-term crisis, such as sudden illness or accident, house fire, death in the family, and other acute illness. With Wrentham Angel volunteers in place, families can focus on caring for their loved ones.

As we know, the impact on household routines during a time of crisis often makes life seem unbearable. Having Wrentham Angel volunteers delivering meals, going to the grocery store, driving an ill family member to the hospital, or offering a sinple act of kindness is worth more than words can say. Wrentham Angels will offer non-medical services such as, but not limited to:

  • delivering meals
  • running errands
  • driving patients to and from medical appointments
  • providing daily check-in recipients

When a neighbor or friend is in need of assistance from the Wrentham Angels, they can send an e-mail to Wrenthamangels@comcast.net or call (508) 561-7659. If a person is uncomfortable asking for assistance, many times a friend or neighbor coordinates the request for assistance. Requests are placed onto the Wrentham Angels on-line calendar and the volunteer angels fulfill those needs. It is important to note, Wrentham Angels will be as discrete as possible and will respect the confidentiality of all those requesting assistance.

If you are interested in becoming a Wrentham Angel, please e-mail at Wrenthamangels@comcast.net or call Michelle Rouse at (508) 561-7659.
