  • If you have already had your trash picked up, but did not yet clean out your refrigerator and/or freezer, you will be allowed to bring one bag to the DPW for disposal.  You will have to check in at the office and provide your name and address.
  • One extra container (32 gallons) of trash will be allowed this week for disposal of refrigerator and freezer waste.  No need for purple bags.

Rain Barrels!

Wrentham Recycling Committee is taking orders for SkyJuice Rain Barrels.  The cost is 75.00 per barrel.  They are a high quality, durable rain barrel.  For more info about the barrels visit their web site www.skyjuice.us.  Questions?  Email recycle@wrentham.ma.us.  Order forms can be found below under forms and documents.  Date for orders has been extended until after Wrentham Day, September 10th.  We will be taking orders that day, stop by and visit us!

Used Motor Oil

The DPW can no longer accept used oil.  Most used oil can be returned to the point of purchase if you save your receipt.  Please check with your retailer upon purchase.  Used oil can be turned in during Household Hazardous Waste Day (May 14, 2011) at no charge.

Fall Cleaning???

Cleaning our your home/basement??  This outlet is a great way to clear out the clutter!  Post your item with your local Freecycle group (a YAHOO
user group) and let someone else enjoy it.  Please DO NOT put usable furniture out with your trash!

Plastic Bags

Please do not put ANY plastic bags in with your recycling.  They clog up the machinery at the recycling plant and contaminate the recyclable items. Return them to a local store that recycles plastic bags.  You may also include clean and dry plastic bags such as the plastic wrapping from paper towels & toilet paper, bread bags & non compostable produce bags.

Meetings
The next meeting of the Solid Waste & Recycling Committee will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Town Hall at 6PM.
