Description

The Board of Selectmen consists of a five member Board. Each member is elected. The term of each member is three years and the terms are staggered. The Board of Selectmen is the governing body as well as the Awarding and Licensing Authority of the Town. It is their responsibility for calling all Annual and Special Town Meetings and putting together the Town Meeting Warrants.

Meetings start at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room at 79 South Street. All meetings are open to the public.

Where can I purchase Lake Pearl Boat Landing Parking Permits?

Boat landing parking permits can be purchased at the Board of Selectmen's office. Wrentham Residents - $40.00 / $20.00 (for 60 and over), Non-Residents - $65.00. Access to boat landing for pleasure boating is restricted to residents only. Non-residents are allowed to fish only.

All applications require name, address, birth year, telephone number, valid driver's license and boat registration. Non-residents must provide a valid 2011 fishing license.

Where can I purchase a Recycling Bin?

Recycling bins can be purchased at the Board of Selectmen's office for $8.00 each.

Where can I purchase purple trash bags?

Purple trash bags are available for purchase at Cataldo's Hardware, Cumberland Farms, the local Stop & Shop(s) and Shaws in Franklin. Trash bags are not available at Town Hall.

How do I dispose of an old American Flag?

Anyone possessing an old, faded, worn or tattered American flag can drop it off at the Selectmen's office at Town Hall to be picked up by the Veterans' Agent for proper disposal.
