The Tax Collector is responsible for the Real Estate and Personal Property which are issued twice a year, with quarterly payments due on Feb 1st, May 1st, Aug 1st, and Nov 1st.

Excise bills are issued when data is updated from the Commonwealth Registry of Motor Vehicles and are due 30 days from the issue date.

Water bills with billing information supplied by the Water Department are issued twice yearly by billing district and monthly to commercial accounts.

The Treasurer is responsible for all of the Town's banking relationships, which includes investing, borrowing and dispensing of funds authorized by the Board of Selectmen. The Treasurer is also responsible for the assets of the Town including but not limited to all oproperties that the collector has placed in tax title, and for the ultimate resolution of those properties in tax title. The Treasurer is also responsible for the calculation of the Town employees payroll along with all required reporting of payroll data to the Commonwealth and Federal governments.
