Wrentham Wrooter Banner Campaign
Recreation is seeking sponsorship to meet the growing needs of the Wrentham and King Philip recreation communities via utility pole decorative banner signage throughout commercial and recreational districts in and around Wrentham. Banners (24"x36") can be custom designed depicting a recreational activity and the name of the sponsor on both sides. The banner is sewn of the highest quality, durable, weather resistant material with incorporated wind cuts. Hardware for the attachment is also top of the line. Cost for sponsorship is $1250 for the first year or $2000 for a two year block. Orders should be received by August for our inaugural kick off in the fall of 2010. All proceeds will go directly to the William Rice Gift Fund and the Rice Playspace Fund. The contribution is tax deductible. Contact Jane D'Amico for more information at (508) 384-2525 or e-mail 4boyz@comcast.net. Or, you may call the Recreation Dept. at (508) 384-5427.

William A. Rice Recreation Complex
In bringing the William A. Rice Complex to Wrentham, we are not only offering a chance for young and old to use and enjoy this complex in an organized or individual way but we have created a way to keep 80 acres of Wrentham land as open space for the town to enjoy for years to come. The William A. Rice Complex is located at 54 Emerald Street, Wrentham. In 2004 the Town of Wrentham overwhelmingly chose to name the new recreational complex in William Rice's name in honor of his 24 years of unselfish, dedicated work to the town of Wrentham as Recreation Director. Funding for this project provded by private and corporate donations, state and federal grants.
