The 92-lot (UP TO 92 lots) Open Space Preservation Development (OSPD) off of Park Street across from the Fox Run subdivision was approved by the Planning Board at the September 6, 2018 meeting. The project is currently under construction.
685 South Street
This proposed project involves the expansion of the existing real estate office building as well as the construction of a new commercial building in the rear of the property located to the east of the Café Assissi plaza. The next public hearing is scheduled for March 21st.
35 Commercial Drive
The commercial project that involves the construction of a daycare center and two (2) commercial buildings was approved by the Planning Board. The project was approved by the Planning Board at the October 18, 2017 meeting and construction should begin in the spring of 2018.
NasKart (589 Washington Street)
The public hearing for the proposed commercial subdivision roadway and indoor electric go-kart and trampoline park facility was opened by the Planning Board was approved by the Planning Board at the November 15, 2017 meeting. The applicant will likely be appearing before the Planning Board for a modification to the proposed building.
Pharmacy and Convenience Store/Gas Station (630 & 650 South Street)
The project involves the construction of a 13,100± SF pharmacy with drive-through and a 5,800± SF multi-tenant convenience store with gas pumps. It was approved by the Planning Board at its February 22, 2018 meeting. The plans have yet to be endorsed. Construction should begin in the spring of 2018.
Columbia Gas (604 Thurston Street)
The project will involve the construction of a building with associated storage that will serve as a maintenance hub in the area for Columbia Gas. The project was approved by the Planning Board at its February 7, 2018 meeting. The plans have yet to be endorsed. Construction should begin in spring of 2018.
The Rosegate project will include the construction of 240 units of apartment-style affordable housing and was approved by the Zoning Board of Appeals at the April 21, 2016 meeting. The Ledgeview project includes the construction of a hotel, three (3) restaurants, an assisted care facility and retail in Wrentham and was approved by the Planning Board at the June 14, 2017 meeting.. Construction is ongoing and the Town is actively monitoring construction activity.
Route 1 Corridor Study
A public meeting was held on February 15, 2018 at the Fiske Public Library to present the results of the Study. The final report should be published in mid-March and given to the Town for distribution.

Town Center Zoning
On December 12, 2017 a public forum was held to solicit feedback from residents regarding the progress of work by the by-law committee to date. The committee has been working on creating a new zoning district(s) for the Town Center areas current zoned C-1 and B-1 for almost one (1) year. The response was very positive at the public forum and now the committee will work on finalizing the by-law for presentation at the June 2018 Town Meeting.
Galaxy Development (Kendrick Street)
There has been no news regarding the possible development of the Kendrick Street properties owned by Galaxy Development at the corner of Kendrick Street and Depot Street. Nothing is imminent at this point. The engineer for Galaxy Development has been a part of the Town Center Zoning Committee and has been very helpful in providing current marketing and development information.
635 Dedham Street Zoning By-Law Amendment
The Zoning By-Law amendment for 635 Dedham Street was approved unanimously at the November 13, 2017 Town Meeting and has been sent to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office for final approval.
Route 1/A - 495 Southbound Slip Ramp
The design appears to be stalled at the pre-25% design stage. New information has not been received in several months on this project.
